Adult Formation & Connection
St. Mark’s Book Study Group
1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30 pm (and 5th, if there is one). The Book Study meets downstairs conference room/library at the church. Contact Ministry Leader to find out what book we are currently reading.
Confirmation Classes
In Episcopal tradition, if a person (15 or older) wishes to explore their faith more deeply and - at the end of this process - feels called to make a public affirmation of their faith, they may receive a laying on of hands by the bishop. It is a process of confirmation not conformation.
Contemplative Prayer Group
2nd & 4th Wednesdays following the noon service; approximately 1:00 pm. The Contemplative Prayer Group meets after the Noon Service at 1:00 on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays in the St. Mark's sanctuary. The group enjoys a short reading from various spiritual literature, then spends about 20 to 30 minutes seated together in silent meditation.
Daughters of the King
This women-only ministry provides ongoing intercessory prayer support for St. Mark's and meets monthly to study and pray together. Members also send out a series of grief booklets to console parishioners after a loss.
Divine Diners Groups
This popular program is a great way to socialize and get to know your fellow parishioners. Groups of around eight people meet for dinner in members homes approximately four times a year, rotating hosts and sharing the preparation of meals together. Singles are welcome as well as couples.
Women’s Writing Group
Meets the third Tuesday of each month, 10:30 to noon
Participants read poems, essays or memoirs they have written
Wednesdays with the word - bible study
Join us every Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 am in the Conference Room for 'Wednesdays with the Word,' a clergy-led Bible study where we explore scripture together for spiritual growth and fellowship.
